MY DEAR TELANGANA.... (its burning)

Jai Telangana Movement....it was drenched with the blood of many students back in '69. It was due to the reason that the so called contract/agreement between Telangana (mostly Nizam region) and Andhra state, which led to the formation of Andhra Pradesh in '56, was violated and our Telanganites felt betrayed.

I never was just politically right in my posts and would try never to be so....if you understand what I mean. The present scenario seems a lot like a political movie to me (minus the loss of common man). All the people who were silent before yesterday night's Telangana favorable statement, or who said they would simply follow high command's decision, now rebelled back and as a common man I just couldn't understand and digest it.

Ok lets take a quiz...ok a simple question to the people who are reading this from Hyderabad, ......name any other town in R.R.Dist. other than Vikarabad.....

Ok, let it be....to rest of the people, name aany other town/city from Telangana other than twin cities, Vikarabad and other than the towns with district names.

Now you understand Telangana is really backward (count your score please). This is the reason Telangana agitation has again surfaced. But as in any other agitation....its again the fault of these bloody RTC Buses....isn't it...These RTC buses are against any agitation...So they should be kicked, shattered and should be burn't alive...They deserve it.....bloddy RTC buses...don't they....They are the ones which raise their voices, cheat people, consume public money and do all the nautanki...aren't they?? How dare that they raise their voices when KCR was in hospital...So they were burnt alive....No, no.....it doesn't affect common people in any way....They wont raise the fares....if they do...we'll again burn the buses alive....

Ok, let the buses choose their own road, but, justice should really be done to Telangana. And now this agitation against Telangana. When the poor Telanganites are fighting for food and water, these people who are against Telangana, are fighting for their capital investments....by the way....isn't money  greater than food and water.

By the way, these Telangana agitation never meant non Telanganites to leave Hyderabad, but just want a separate state...What is so hard to understand in it for the Andhra & Rayalaseema politicians and what is their fuss all about...They are free to invest in Hyderabad...or anywhere in India...

Speaking it in common man's language, I really don't know how much help it would do to our Telangana if it separated. It would always be the same....politicians grow in number and grow richer.

If you didn't get any of my words.....am saying it straight....I am for Telangana....but please dont burn the poor buses for any politician or even for ourselves and please don't end your lives. Its precious.

Brown, Browner, Brownest...

He is back....tha tha thaa tha tha (Terminator style). He introduced LHC to us browners, even before rest of the world read it in papers and saw it in news channels for the infamous atom collision experiment. The large computer & the algorithms in Digital fortress, anti-matter in Angels & Demons, unknown species in Deception Point.....his novels were more informative than the underlying story itself, with the twists making you read even faster to unfold each mystery. I virtually visited the Louvre Museum while reading The Da Vinci Code. Following that novel, i've read it in papers, someone even really claimed that he/she (i actually don't remember the person's gender & name..its long back) is from The Bloodline.

Few days back (about 2 months), when I was searching something random, I came to know about his The Lost Symbol which was about due release. I was intrigued about it, so got it just few days after its release. It actually took me 10 days to complete reading it (now shut up and stop rolling your eyes....I know its long for a thriller....but you know....I do the W word....work...you idiot...stop rolling eyes again...).

I had the opinion (for the starting few pages) that now its a boring piece from him. But it later caught on the pace. Then suddenly I had this opinion that perhaps he was intrigued by Krishna Consciousness. But then after a few chapters, he did mention Lord Krishna and The Bhagavad Geeta. I was little happier that now perhaps I was guessing his twists before hand....and believe me....it was going the same way I thought it would lead...(perhaps i'm becoming intelligent, or perhaps, he is thinking like me). Anyways, it was good to have Robert Langdon back into action. At a certain moment, I thought that perhaps he was smitten by the celebrity status of Langdon, like Sherlock Holmes, like Harry Potter (an for the Doordarshan viewers...Detective Sam De Silva of Tehkikaat).

For those who are awaiting new tech. bytes in this novel, sorry to say, but there are none that we haven't heard before. Noetic science, liquid breathing, holographic data storage...nothing new in this novel ( i mean...atleast i've heard about them long back).

And the good part is that, this one has no or very less number of statements which may rise any allegations or such. Here, its a lot about Free masonry (yup...again), Vedas, The Bhagawad Geeta, Kabbalah & Koran. apart from The Bible. Perhaps, thrillers are being too routine for Mr. Brown, 'coz it seems that at a point he lost interest. He lost the continuity of some events (like...when Langdon calls Katherene, she immediately recognises his no. in her phone book ...but later it is said that his no. is unlisted, when she wants to call him (am not talking about call from Bellamy's phone).

In the other half, the story had twists similar to old Indian thriller movies. Another story on alchemy (perhaps I had this feeling 'coz i've read The Alchemist recently), but The Alchemist was the best  on alchemy.

Hey, I know, you are thinking...what happened to this guy. Yesterday it was Jai Ho and today its The Lost Symbol......is he trying to be a critic??? Naah....no way..... అంత సినిమా లేదు గురు ....

Jai Ho..........

Yeah...you are guessing....aren't you? Yup...I've attended the Jai Ho concert of Maestro A R Rahman...Yeah guys...i've seen him live in action (for those of you who are jealous...here's the kaala teeka .)

My brother and me went to the concert which was scheduled to start at 6:30 pm. We've started from our house by 3:00 pm and when we were almost there, we got message to collect the tickets from some other point. We had to go back all the way towards Banjara Hills-Shamshabad route instead of the shorter Pahaad-E-Shareef route. and reached the venue by 5:00 pm. With many expectations when we reached the spot, we were to stand during the entire program...(bloody GMR & organisers). Even though the arrangements for the audience were bad, none of them complained and none of them were furious just for The Maestro. Even before the concert started, there were long queues in front of some stalls and on inquisitively inquiring, i found that they were food stalls. Even though not hungry, just went for a samosa which was just cheaper than a dollar-USD (a single samosa...phew...).

The concert started at around 7:10 pm with a bang and a foot tapping khalbali. I could just distinguish him from the rest of his crew on the stage. I found myself screaming even though after some time, it turned out to be a bit louder than a whisper. Then came the song from delhi 6  and jiya se jiya (Sivamani was fantastic). Shwetha Pandit was good. But I didn't like Fiqrana in telugu. Neeti Mohan was fantastic with Mayya Mayya no. and was an eye candy with the usual and too good big red dress prop (she and shwetha pandit were a good combination in pappu). Konchem Neeru (in tamil) raised the spirits. Snehituda and Chup ke se by Sadhana Sargam were pleasant. 

With the Sitar & Piano Jugalbandi (oopz...i donno the magician who performed amazing tricks with his sitar) for Mausam & Escape theme (along with The Heart Beat Percussionist Sivamani) they touched our hearts. By the way.....stylish Rashid Ali's Kahin to & Kabhi Kabhi Aditi were enjoyable.

They had a small segment (was it small....???) on Late YSR and a song dedicated to him sung by Sadhana Sargam & Aslam (as far as I remember its his name). The song was good though (with classical touch). Our Maestro was usually the best and showered on us with Khwaja Mere Khwaja & Arziyan. Just when I was thinking that there were no big singers except Sadhana Ji & ARR, entered Chitra with her soul stirring Kannanule & Innalilaa Ledule.

We danced for Pappu can't dance (was it a dance....ahem...) by Neeti Mohan (she was so cute all over the show), Swetha Pandit and apna Blaaze. Chayya Chayya was performed by the female singers only, and wasn't that enjoyable (if I said it was Fiqrana in telugu, am wrong, 'coz i liked his variations and the harmonics(Fiqrana is my fav no. in Blue)). Jana Gana Mana (Yuva) started and even before we could enjoy it, stopped....it was only the mukhda (pallavi)...(perhaps due to its aggressive lyrics)

Icing on the cake was performance by Suzanne....She was aggressiv with her Mangta hai kyaaand was energetic with Ae Bachu. Then followed Mustafa Mustafa by the legend in telugu & tamil. And as I was waiting for it, entered Blaaze with his Rap mix Humma Humma.

The show ended with Jai Ho & Maa Tujhe Salaam along with fire works..... and we headed back on the bikes in that dusty, cold, dark night to our homes.

Statue..Statue...Where r u?

I was thinking (yeah guys...I do think) how would it be to have my statue erected at a famous place (maybe....at Tank Bund or Necklace road or near Golconda or beside Charminar or in front of Taj Mahal , Qutub Minar or why not on the Moon.....c'mon guys suggest a good tourist place). I will be content with just 2 or 3 enormous statues of myself....

I know...you are asking "How will you fund it?"...How the hell do you think? There's lots of public money gathered by all kind of taxes (about the taxes...some other time). How shall it be used if not for this noble cause. If you want the cost estimation, I will just use 10 - 50 crores of Rupees. (see....!! my budget is not 2000 crores or 500 crores or 350 crores)

Don't worry, no one will object this. If anyone has a problem or objection, I will get Presidential rule all over India. And...if the court has something to say, who cares??!! 'coz it doesn't have anything to do with any political party and am neither a CM of any state...hehe am serious about this.... ;)

There is more than what meets the eye

A few days back I was watching this news snippet on a channel which says that people of a certain village worship king Raavan and they don't celebrate Dassera. They have their own version of why they are doing so. They say, Raavan was just having revenge for the insulting act done to Soorpanaka by Lakshman. We perhaps just remember that Raavan was a great scholar and was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. He was also called Raavan Bramha. He was the villain of that epic anyways.

Same is the case with Duryodhan, who was the villain of Mahabharat. But, it seems that during his reign, he ruled his kingdom with such a devotion and love towards his subjects and people that he was praised as one of the greatest kings. But these statements are less known.

That was about the epics. The modern history has such facts and real bitter truths too.

Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, one of India's (also world's) greatest modern day scientists, was given his due credit for his work very lately (I am talking about his work on millimeter waves). The work was previously credited to Marchese Guglielmo Marconi (until recent).

And its the modern day's apparently dangerous villain Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti (Saddam Hussein), executed by the the good, the wise, the innocent, the most non-violent government of America.

How can anyone prosecute a country's president? (yeah....I know...the hearing was in his own country and was hanged there)

All the events have something in common! What is it?

History has it that by the instinct of living beings the victorious have erased the existence of defeated clan/group. Power and history is always of the victorious ones. However good the defeated may be....he is always the villain and how bad may the victorious maybe, he is the hero and he is righteous.

Hehe...what am i talking? lol. Hey...I now remember this saying.."History is a whore which sleeps with power" (I don't remember the guy who said it) ...(sorry if I was a lil offensive...but the news bit of that village made me think all this stuff).

I am back....Navratri Special ;)

Hi folks...

I was away from blogging for a long time. But now, I have decided to blog regularly, to de-stress myself. They say it takes a lot of courage to say the truth. And it takes a lot more to say it about yourself. Lets see if I have it. LOL ;)

Its 4 days of holidays and all these 4 days I can enjoy what I like most....sleep...(now I can see all you people making faces at me ;) ). Everything else aside, the first thing i heard this morning was that Chandrayaan found traces of water on moon confirmed by NASA and that they congratulated and thanked ISRO. gr8 achievement guys... but the moment I heard it, the first thing that came to my mind is....guess what!.....Deception Point....yaar don't make faces again. I can't help it, 'coz i've been reading a lot of Dan Brown these days.

4 days...4 long days..holidays for नवरात्री ...i've always wanted to attend दांडिया/ गरबा  nite.... :( but no invitation this year too....somebody get me an invitation guys...I think its the end of this year's dandiya too..i missed it :(

By the way, yesterday it was my friend's b'day, and als we didn't celebrate it. no....not because of the H1N1 everywhere. He wasn't anywhere in the city. So we missed the party... but don't worry, we'll get it by hook or crook.

And back to Dan Brown, i've just got the copy of 'The Lost Symbol' (yeah....i hear someone saying 'its too much of Dan Brown'). I can't help it. Off the late, the best book i've read is 'The Alchemist'. You get carried away by the author's narration. Its like a fairy tale, but so much real. And for the people who haven't read it, it says

"अगर किसी चीज़ को दिल से चाहो तो पूरी कायनात तुम्हें उससे मिलाने की कोशिश में लगजाती है ".

Yeah its the dialogue from Om Shanti Om, but it was inspired from the book. I liked the book very much.

While writing all these things, my mind is still wandering around dandiyaa.

Have I missed something? 'coz these days I forget a lot....I am unable to remember names (hehe...not of my girl friends...yaar don't make faces again ;) )
